Herz- und Diabeteszentrum NRW, Bad Oeynhausen University Hospital of the Ruhr-University Bochum
The Herz- und Diabeteszentrum NRW, Bad Oeynhausen endeavors to make its website accessible to all. The website design aims to comply with the national laws governing implementation of Directive (EU) 2016/2102 of the European Parliament. The following declaration of accessibility applies to the website www.hdz-nrw.de, its subpages and landing pages.
The website www.hdz-nrw.de is not yet completely compatible with the technical requirements stipulated by North Rhine-Westphalia for accessible IT.
Level of compatibility with requirements for accessible IT
We are currently working to improve the accessibility of our website. This will take some time because it partially involves reprogramming of the website. Than you for your patience.
For example, not every aspect of the website is currently accessible via keyboard functions, while the sequence in which some modules are spoken aloud by screen readers is not always correct. In addition, we are working to improve the operability of content as it appears, e.g. in the main navigation, as well as to give users the possibility to adjust the font size in line with their needs, without losing any content or functionality in the process.
Another problem we are currently addressing is the accessibility of PDF documents linked to our website www.hdz-nrw.de, which is not always sufficient. This problem will unfortunately take longer to solve because of the sheer number of files, brochures and flyers, all of which can only be adapted step by step. However, it is our objective to remove all existent barriers to accessibility as soon as possible.
