Visits to all wards permitted with restrictions from 20st June 2020

In order to prevent infection, we request family members to restrict visits to their next of kin to a minimum. We also recommend that visitors to our hospital come alone.

From June 20, 2020, four people are allowed per patient double room, after the patient's last day of stay, and remain administered for one hour of visit.

At the Herz- und Diabeteszentrum NRW (HDZ NRW), Bad Oeynhausen, visits are to be permitted again with some restrictions from Wednesday 20 May 2020. Due to the strict government regulations in place, a return to normal visiting is not yet possible.

“In the interest of our patients and our staff, it is important for us to keep the infection risk as low as possible“, Prof. Dr. Jan Gummert, Medical Director at the HDZ NRW, stressed. We have therefore decided to have one fixed visiting hour per ward per day.

Exceptions can only be made for the Pediatric Heart Center or in agreement with the responsible Senior Physician. Please also understand that, due to the current measures required by law, the HDZ NRW can only permit visitors to enter the building who agree in writing to these measures, and who submit their personal details in order for the authorities to be able to track and trace them in the case of an infection chain.

Visitor registration forms are available to download here. Please print one out and complete it carefully, bringing it with you on your visit to the HDZ NRW.
