The Clinic for Congenital Heart Defects (

Director: Deniz Kececioglu MD, Univ.-Prof.) comprises two pediatric cardiology wards and a pediatric intensive care unit.

Besides the diagnosis and therapy of congenital heart defects, one of the most important tasks within our Clinic is the interdisciplinary care of adolescents and adults in cooperation with our colleagues from cardiosurgery.

In our outpatients department we have at our disposal a pediatric cardiac catheter laboratory, modern ultrasound diagnostics and measuring equipment for pulmonary function.

Care in our Clinic includes mother and child facilities and the Ronald McDonald House for Parents.
